Young Turks Challenge Prince George's Incumbent Delegates

Nicole Williams, a real estate attorney about to turn 40 who was president of Young Dems, is running for the House in District 22 that includes Hyattsville, New Carrollton and Greenbelt. She told MarylandReporter.com she doesn’t care if veteran delegates criticize her for lack of legislative experience.

Williams thinks there is a need for the incumbent delegation to get off their duffs, and she is the person to do it. That goes for the national Democratic Party as well.

“People are clamouring for bold, progressive leadership,” Williams said, “and I’ve never been one to back down from a fight.”
