How to Apply

• Create a student login on the Maryland Higher Education Commission

        website: https://mdcaps.mhec.state.md.us/MDCAPS/login.aspx

• Complete your FAFSA by Maryland’s deadline, June 1, 2024. You can

       do this online at https://fafsa.ed.gov/ or by mail.

• Complete The Maryland State Financial Aid Application

       (MSFAA Guidelines): Allows qualified children of undocumented
       immigrants who qualify for in-state tuition under §15–106.8 of the
       MD Education Article, to apply and be considered for certain types of
       State need-based financial aid

• Available online on your MDCAPS portal to applicants who are

       ineligible to receive federal aid using the Free Application for Federal
       Student Aid (FAFSA)

• IF YOU QUALIFY FOR THE MSFAA APPLICATION, DO NOT FILL OUT A

       FAFSA FORM

• Fill out and submit the application below.
